SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for assisting service technicians and apprentices.  Will work on jobsites and in the shop, under supervision, on maintenance, repairs and clean-up.  

 

PRIMARY ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1.   2. Assist service technicians on maintenance inspections and repairs.
  3. Clean up work areas and shop.
  4. Deliver parts and equipment when assigned.
  5. Assist service technicians on projects as assigned.
  6. Wash coils, brush tubes, clean equipment, change filters and belts.
  7. Perform other duties as required or assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or GED;  minimum 6 months verifiable previous employment experience.  

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

State driver’s license, auto insurance, auto registration, and acceptable driving record.

PREFERRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

None indicated.

This position is performed in a repair shop/warehouse environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme heat; and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
