Due to continue growth, we are actively seeking a Project Manager to join our team! This individual will be responsible for overseeing the overall management of the jobsite, including safety, quality, employee development, and production. The Project Manager is also responsible for building relationships in order to seek referrals and gain repeat business.

Essential Functions:

  • Conduct jobsite inspection regularly
  • Monitor and maintain a safe work environment meeting OSHA and Harness Roofing, Inc. standards
  • Attend and conduct weekly safety meetings
  • Development of Foremen which includes Career Development Program and Foreman accountability for crew development such as mentoring and leading
  • Pre- and post construction meeting with owners, general contractors and foremen three to five days before job begins
  • Schedule crews to meet customer needs and work within HRI budget
  • Monitor job tracking at HRI established intervals such as: 20%, 40%, 60%, and 80% of completion of job for the following:
    • Actual labor versus budget
    • Actual material versus budget
    • Actual gross profit versus budget
  • Monitor jobsite inventory and rented equipment to stay within budgeted costs
  • Maintain HRI quality standards and pass manufacturer’s inspection:
    • Perform pre-inspection punch list
    • Accompany manufacturer inspector and foreman on final punch list
    • Attend jobsite meetings with general contractor and/or building owner if required
  • Maintain relationships with building owners and/or owner’s representative and general contractors
  • Actively seek referrals and repeat business
  • Identify and request change orders
  • Estimate as requested by the Branch Manager
  • Assist Branch Manager as directed

Competencies and Experience:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a roofing management role preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Problem solver
  • Multi-tasking

Required Education and Licenses:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Non-commercial Driver’s License
